Nice recording Bob, as good as some of the other Creek boards available. Great versions of Easy to Slip, Pissed Off, and Dance. I was a Creek Freak from about 1980-1985 and saw them a few times a week in that frame; mostly in Connecticut. I saw Creek a bunch of times at CB11 (during its short lifespan) and vividly remember this show. The highlights for me were partying with Mark in the parking lot watching the cars whiz by on I-84, and standing next to where Amy was singing on the bar side of the stage.... always had a crush on her; my girlfriend was even uderstanding; she liked Scott. Around this time, Creek had the most awesome sound system for a local band and John played this custom bass that had these freaky LED peak meters on them. As I said, this old warehouse was a cool venue, but couldn't compare to places like Mad Murphy's on Union Place in Hartford. If anyone ever gets a copy of the show at Trinity on 4/25/81, email me at dtsecofr21@sbcglobal.net. It was awesome... about 3am, Bob Gosselin stood up from his drums fell over and passed out... that summed up the whole night, and my Creek experiences in general; wouldn't trade them for the world.

I don't see how the other reviewers can give this show five stars. Their playing is off, the recording is not that good, and PLEASE SOMEONE STOP THEM FROM SINGING (Pegg-ie-ho???)!!! One of the weakest shows I've gotten off Archive. Do yourself a favor and find another show.

It was a great show. I had roadied for the Creek for a couple years. Then I went off to college. Well I was home for the summer and took my equipment down to the show. John Archer had me plug it in. I didn't do anything special. Glad you all enjoy it. Hope to make it to a show again. Email me if you wish - bobhunt@snet.net

My first download.... Great show, wish the estimated was here intact. Anyway, nice chunky '82 sound.... One helluva fourth of July, I reckon.
